The Kula Lodge & Restaurant

A Rustic, Romantic Hideaway built in the 1940's as a private residence, Kula Lodge and Restaurant hugs the mountainside and blends with the astonishing ambience of Upcountry Maui. Located in the agricultural town of Kula (population 7,000) on the Western Slopes of Haleakala Crater at 3200 feet, the Lodge sits in a garden of flowers as nearby flower farms color the earth with carnations, protea and other blossoms. The property offers spectacular sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean and West Maui mountains, distant towns whose lights glitter in each day's twilight, and the isthmus that connects East and West Maui. Often used for weddings and special occasions, a unique garden terrace with incredible views and a wood-burning brick oven surrounds the restaurant. Herbs grown in the garden below are used in local preparations at the restaurant which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.
