I stayed in this camp a few years ago and really enjoyed being right on the river - most sites back up to within 15 yards or so of the Lochsa. I'd love to stay here again someday but every time I'm in the area the camp is full. Camp is small, with only about a dozen sites, and pretty popular due to the shady sites and easy access to the river. All but two sites back up to the river and all are about the same size - I've seen 35' class A's in here several times. Basic table and fire ring at each. LOTS of shade so solar panels are mostly worthless in here.
As you pull into camp veer left. The day-use parking area is on the right but if there are cars parked down there you could have a difficult time turning around. Sites 1-3 are near the entrance and then there's a stretch of about 100 yards to get to sites 4-12. There are three pit toilets in the camp and 1 large trash dumpster. The trash can fill up during the busier weekends so be prepared to pack out your trash. There is a hand pump for water near site 8 as well.
Road noise can get a little annoying as the camp sits right off Highway 12. Lots of traffic in the day but things quiet down at night.
If you are approaching westbound there is currently no "camp 1/4 ahead" warning sign so you'll probably miss the turn-off, I did and I was expecting it. Not to worry, Wendover Camp is just 1/2 down the highway and you can pull in there to turn around.

Spaces are all paved and turn around for larger rigs. Good space between each campground. Water available onsite, but was being tested for drinking while we visited. My family enjoyed the campground.
