Kamp Klamath is located on the Klamath River, surrounded by the Redwood National Park, offering the ultimate in adventure, comfort and natural beauty. All campsites are grassy, surrounded by trees, featuring picnic tables, fire rings, free hot showers and free WiFi.

RV sites include electricity, water and sewer hookups. In-Kamp activities include volleyball, badminton, horse shoes, "Goofy Golf", movies, karaoke, geocache and guided nature walks. Activity opportunities outside of Kamp Klamath include world-class salmon and steelhead fishing [guides available on site], beach combing, hiking, swimming, boating, bicycling, whale watching, birding and photography.

Kamp Klamath is located on scenic Coastal Drive, within minutes of the Pacific Ocean, Fern Canyon, Trees of Mystery, the Tour Thru Tree, the Yurok reservation, Big Tree Redwood Grove, "The Farm that Wasn't" WWII battle station, the Klamath Estuary, Flint Ridge Trail, Crescent City and Crescent Harbor. Saturday nights light up with an all-you-can-eat barbecue of Tossed Green Salad [from our vegetable gardens], Rice Pilaf, Stir-Fry Vegetable Jubilee, choice of grilled Chicken or fresh-from-the-river grilled Chinook Salmon. A bon fire and live music follow the barbecue and are open to all guests. Kamp Klamath is the headquarters for FunBus Tours. Spacious hot showers (although watch out for temp changes when you hear a toilet flush). VERY friendly staff and neighbors. Gorgeous campgrounds (you feel like you're in a Jurassic park film). Convenient location and near a lot of hiking, fishing, local attractions, right on the river. Campsite also has a small mini farm with free range chickens, goats, and a garden. The campsites are relatively close together, but we ended up liking it since our neighbors were very friendly and helpful! I would definitely stay here again.

Cramped sites, no picnic tables, your choice of scalding hot musty shower or ice cold musty shower, or better yet, leave it up to chance, every toilet flush turns your shower into your own adventure! But, at least there were showers, right? There were bathrooms, filthy and broken down, the stall door wouldn't stay closed, but hey, at least there were bathrooms with running water. Only reason for the second star is for the camp host, who was friendly and helpful.
