The University of Rhode Island Botanical Gardens, located at the north end of URI’s Kingston Campus, is a showcase for sustainable plants and sustainable landscape practices. It is free and open to the public with 4.5 acres of sustainably managed gardens housing trees, shrubs, perennials, and open areas. Native plants and others carefully selected from around the world. It also features historic stone walls, benches to sit and relax.
