Easy access from Hwy 1, specific site assigned after you arrive. We were in a full hookup, waterfront site, beautiful view from our windshield. It can get windy as there is no wind break from a NW wind. Weather was great in February usually high in the mid-70s low in the mid-60s. Facilities are excellent, medium sized NEX and Commissary. There is a small gym at the MWR office. Sites are close together but it is the keys, its that way every where. Restaurants and businesses are about 2-4 miles from the campground. Visited the Key West Aquarium, well worth the entry fee.
Good AT&T cell service 4 bars of 5G. One local HD TV channel.

This is one of those places where everyone says good morning to each other as they walk past. The journey from the mainland to Key West takes about 3-4 hours and do NOT speed. There are police everywhere just waiting to give out tickets. There were no guards at the gate when we came in, but exercises were going on that week so we made sure to check in at the visitor's center for passes.
The people in the campground office are very nice and gave us a wonderful welcome... even helped us get our temporary passes situated. (VHIC card holder)
We dry camped at Sigsbee. We were supposed to be at Trumbo Point, but they switched us to Sigsbee instead. There's more space between and in front of sites for maneuvering at Sigsbee. The camp host guided us to the dump, then the potable water station and to our site. Bathhouses are in decent condition. Laundry is $2 for washing and $2 for drying. You will hear constant generator noise though because people dry camp and don't have solar panels.
Mid-70's and slightly humid in February. We didn't really get the salt air smell and rusting like at Padre Island. Something to know about Key West. It is difficult to get around with a car, especially a large truck. Parking is $4/hr on the island. There is a bus, but if you miss it you may be waiting an hour or two for the next one. Everyone either bikes or walks where they want to go.
Starlink gave us great speeds at 117 down 22 up. Verizon was 3 on the phone, 5 on the cell antenna. AT&T was also at 5 bars on the cell antenna.

Arrival - Easy to navigate registration lanes once you arrive. After hours check-in available by calling the number listed below in the photo. Alvin and Dean in the front office are super quick and super informative. Camp host will escort you to your site during business hours.
Tips - Make sure to follow the driving directions outlined at https://www.militarycampgrounds.us/florida/86-sigsbee-rv-park if you are towing long. We were several rows back from the water which was fine. Easy to walk down to the waters edge for sunset.
Favorites - Location in Key West at $40/night. NEX/Commissary/ITT/Gym right across the street from us. Laundry facilities right out our back door. Duval street is bikeable from the campground. Amazing sunsets and great ocean breezes. Clear line of sight for Starlink.
Negatives - Packed in like sardines (it was ok, we didn't come to Key West for the RV resort). Had to park our tow vehicle away from our fifth wheel. One night of being awakened at 0130 for campers not abiding by the 2300 - 0700 quiet hours. The camp hosts could do a better job of picking up the waterfront in my opinion.
