Asphalt pads, vault toilets, water, shady sites. Price reflects senior discount. Our only complaint was that the host seemed unhappy that we paid with a check rather than cash.

Although there were no hook-ups (dry camping only), there was plenty of access to potable water. There were either pit toilets or flush. Very nice, well-shaded, a few sites were right along the river. Some sites closer to the highway could hear the noise, but at night there is very little traffic.
The campground host Ron was extremely friendly, helpful, informative, and was very available if we needed anything. All sites, except the group site are on a first-come, first-served basis but everybody was civilized and there wasn't any trouble getting a site.
Seniors receive a 50% discount. Regular nightly fare is now $18; I paid only $9. Such a deal! I expect to be back and bring some friends, too.
There is no cell service by any carrier. However, seven miles toward Ketchum there is a parking lot at the trail head of the Wood River paved pedestrian and bicycle path. There is plenty of T-Mobile signal available there as well as all the other carriers, so it is not too difficult to catch up on emails and text messages.
Since there is no signal, it's a good idea to bring cash because the host can't process any credit cards.

We tried the Camp Ground to the south of this one first but didn't like the available sites and it was dirty. We drove a bit more and found this camp with availability and clean sites with paved paths. There is a nice trail to ride bikes or take a walk on that follows the river down to the NRA Visitors Center. No hookups but that wasn't a problem for us. We took the first site we saw as it was close to the entrance and nestled between huge trees. At night the traffic dies down and the sound of the river lulls you to sleep.

Intending to travel past Sun Valley into the Sawtooth region, on a whim we pulled in to see what this campground was like. I'm sure glad we did! A perfect family camping setting with a lovely river flowing along the campground boundary, a hiking/biking trail connected to the campground, and views upon views! Convenient location near the mountain town of Ketchum with all the necessary services and more!
Many sites are small, but plenty of room for tents, vans, small RVs and trailers. we found a few that would fit our 36ft travel trailer. A great spot, we will definitely be back!

Loved the deep wooded sites and the quick access to the river but I would’ve boondocked for free if I had just known to drive a little further north.

We camped here in early August to relax in the peaceful forest and to hike in the surrounding area. The nightly rate of $10.00 reflects our Senior Pass discount. Paved campground drive and a nearly level paved campsite pad, spacious campsite with plenty of shade trees. Trash containers, water, and very clean vault toilet nearby. The great campground host greeted us, he was very helpful, and he sold firewood. We will definetly camp here again.
