Museum exhibitions that enrich a sense of place in Idaho through sharing the history of the Wood River Valley, Ketchum, and the Sun Valley ski resort. The Ketchum / Sun Valley Heritage & Ski Museum is dedicated to preserving the natural heritage of the Upper Wood River Valley and the rich history of the ski industry. It offers exhibits, programs, and classes with numerous opportunities of community involvement. Additionally, Ernest Hemingway was a vibrant part of the community and the museum features an exhibit on his life in the Wood River Valley. Located in a former Forest Service complex built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s.
