Among California wineries, Chateau St. Jean is a pioneer in vineyard designation - making wine from, and naming it for, an outstanding single vineyard. Soon after its inception, the winery began producing individually labeled Chardonnays from the Robert Young and Belle Terre Vineyards and Fume Blanc from La Petite Etoile. Our Mediterranean-styled gardens are widely considered the most beautiful in all of Sonoma County. This elegant landscape with an abundance of exotic trees and flowers, combined with numerous water features, is the perfect backdrop to enjoy a fabulous picnic while tasting world-class wines.
