Welcome to the Britney Spears Museum located in Kentwood, LA. Kentwood is home to celebrity Britney Spears. This museum is dedicated to her! Six months at four hours a day, Randy Head created a replica of the stage Britney performed on her HBO Concert Special. The stage replica boasts six hundred colored lights and thousands of parts. Randy donated it to the Kentwood Museum to add to the Britney Spears exhibit.

This place was worth the stop. It is a small museum in a small house. The lady that runs it was closing up when we got there, but was kind enough to let us walk through and she spent some time telling us about the exhibits. Neither my it I are big Britney Fans, but it was fun and a great way to break up our trip to Houston. I highly recommend it. Just don't expect it to be over the top. It is a fan museum. One perk of the trip was that she told us how to get to Serenity (Britney Spear's home in Kentwood.

If you are looking for this location look for Kentwood Historic Museum. The Britney Spears exhibit is one of three exhibits and has quite a bit of fan memorabilia. The host was friendly and very talkative. Cost is free and the accept donations. Open We-Fr from 10a-3p and select Saturdays.
