J. C. Penney Historic District is a historic district in Kemmerer, Wyoming encompassing several properties associated with James Cash Penney. The district includes the Golden Rule Store, the first in what became the J. C. Penney department store chain. It was declared a National Historic Landmark District in 1978.
I just stopped here for my Mom. Cool historic site. Nothing else close by. Pretty deserted so we were able to stop right in front and jumped outside for picture close ups.
Nothing else around there and only food option was Pizza Hut.
