No amenities, carry in, carry out. Very flat areas to park. We stayed on the sand road next to the North Platt River. Right off I-80 and great for stop over but very little road noise. Lots of birds and wildlife, very peaceful. Highly recommend for $0!

We boondock a lot. Drove here and posted signs say watch your pets. Traps set for unwanted animals. We have 2 dogs that like to roam- ONE reason we boondock so we left. I’m Leaving a review to save dog owners some time.

This area is great to overnight camp along the expressway. There is still noise from the highway, but much less than if you tried staying in the "10 hour limit" rest areas which are crowded. We were able to push our slides out with no fear of getting clipped from trucks, and had no one else near us.
We did see the sign saying warning, traps for coyotes, but we kept our dog on leash and never saw any traps. This area did smell awful, but the entire state did from fertilizing their fields in the fall. We went straight on the exit, we did not cross the one lane bridge.

Arrived around 5:30 and there was one other small tow behind in the one large gravel area. I went down the gravel road 100 yards and found a level spot off the main road. Fair amount of traffic noise, but I expected it due to location next to i80. Earplugs help. I chose the area due to its proximity to the Rowe Audubon preserve that is just minutes away.

Stayed here for 1 night on my way through on my motorcycle. Access was actually really easy and there were some decent spots to tent up for the night. There is a decent amount of truck traffic as you are right by an on ramp to I-80 but it’s negligible. Lots of people there during the day into the evening but it gets better through the night. Good place to overnight if you are just pushing through. Lots of mosquitoes due to it being by the water so make sure to bring bug spray. But there were hundreds of fireflies as well which was very cool. Just be aware that the weather in summer can change on a dime and get really bad really quick.

Like others say, god for a quick stop off from i80. Will be at campsite within 2 minutes. Some road noise but honestly wasn’t bad considering how close to the Highway you are. Really only noticed when trucks would jake break, luckily not many did. Cute little pond/lake right there for fishing or short kayak trip. We actually broke our inflatable out. Be ready for lord of flies but overall good
