The Nebraska Firefighters Museum & Education Center and the Nebraska Firefighters & EMS Memorial are located just off Interstate 80, exit 272, near Kearney, Nebraska.A long-time dream of the Nebraska Firefighters Foundation, the facility opened on August 14th, 2009, and the Memorial was dedicated on October 10th, 2010 during the Annual Nebraska Fallen Firefighters Memorial Service.
