This is my 2nd visit to BF - we were here 4 years ago and took the tour and vowed to return to volunteer. Spent a day helping out the caregivers in Cat Town and took a cat back to our rental for an overnight. It’s an amazing place and they live their mission every day. This is a must see when you are in Kanab - it’s located in a beautiful canyon and their tours are FREE! They added a welcome center downtown 235 S 100 E, Kanab, UT so if you don’t have time for a tour you can check out some of their animals and they have an onsite kitten nursery.

This place was absolutely wonderful. We stayed at their Roadhouse and were able to get a 2 hour guided tour of the sanctuary and meet many of the animals. Just be aware that not all of the animals are on the tour ( birds/ rabbits/ horses). If you want to meet any of these animals you have to book a private tour. Overall an amazing place!
