The river was low so we were able to plop our chairs right in the water and enjoy an adult beverage! The riverfront sites are short and close together but we managed to get our 45 foot rig in there. We had to share a water connection with our neighbor as ours wasn't functioning. Electric worked fine. The WII FI was very sporadic, even non-existent most of the time, so we used our phones. The couple who run the park are very friendly. They aren't always in the office so they don't always answer the phone. If you leave a message, they are good about calling you back. Kamiah is a cute little town with a couple restaurants and a well stocked grocery store. We would stay again if we returned to the area.

We usually avoid private campgrounds like the plague, but on longer trips it makes for a nice break to have full hookups. We found this little gem of a campground just outside Kamiah and were very pleased to get a spot right next to the river. There is a much larger KOA just up the road, but this suits our style much better. Colleen was super friendly and helpful. Gravel roads and camp pads keep the dust down. Also there are not a lot of “residents” here so the pass-thru crowd like us feel more at home. There is a little highway noise and an infrequent airplane taking off from the airport across the river.

We had a lovely spot overlooking the river. Full hookups. Our only complaint was showers were closed. Friendly owners. Easy to get in and out of the sites and the park.

Arrived on a Sunday afternoon. Asked for an extra night. Owners are very nice. Fair price 48.50 with Good Sam discount. Has a food concession cart open during the day. Our spot near the river was beautiful. Not too many people when we stayed. Surprisingly few mosquitoes when we stayed also. Puzzling. Full hook ups.

We arrived after check in, we had a note with our site on the office door! Grounds are well kept, restrooms clean. We typically shy away from parks with full time residents, but you couldn’t even tell there were some here, as it was quiet and clean. Only negative, if you can even call it that, is no fire pit, and would be nice to know Wi-Fi password upon arrival. Would stay again!
