We stayed at this park a few days ago. It was a convenient location to stop for a night and get back on the road. If you read other reviews on other sites, take notice to some of them, but disregard most. The location worked well for our needs. Any of the noises from outside the park are noticeable but does not disrupt anything. The laundry set up was $1 higher a load from the other places we stayed, but I didn't have to keep adding for the dryers and the laundry facility was the best we had seen. Now, the staff. Do not walk in with a chip on your shoulder based on other reviews and it will be fine. Pay them a compliment early on, do not criticize a thing and it will go smoothly. I am basing that on my transaction and the fella next to me. Mine went well. They aren't the most motivated but it didn't show in the park. It was clean and well laid out. I would stay there again.
I stayed at the Joplin KOA on my way home with our “new to us” camper for the first time! The staff here was friendly, and the location is clean. Considering it is right off the highway, it was pleasantly quiet. There is a nice looking pond, and it is an easy walk to a local gas station. It suited my need for an overnight stay perfectly.
It’s a nice place, the guy that runs the place is nice as can be. All around good place and it’s open year round well worth the stay.
Clean campground. Very Friendly. Nice pool. Right off the highway. If you are sensitive to truck noises, not for you. But honestly with having our air conditioner on, we never heard a thing.
Would recommend staying again.
