Zan's Creekside Campground is a family owned and operated park that offers RV camping, tent sites, and day time access to the river for non-campers. All RV sites are under natural shade provided by the plentiful supply of tall trees on the campground. Also, all sites are less than a one minute walk to the beech. RV Sites are OPEN YEAR ROUND!!!! Popular activities include river tube floating from Grand Falls to our location. Grand Falls is about five minutes away by car, the return float trip takes about 1-1/2 to 2 hours (we DO rent tubes). Our location is very popular for launching or retrieving kayaks and we provide parking for vehicles left at one end of the trip (we do NOT rent kayaks). Fishing is always an enjoyable pastime here as well. There is a very nice Mexican food restaurant located on site. We offer weekly and monthly rates for both 30 amp and 50 amp RV Sites. Well behaved pets with responsible owners are welcome. Alligators must be kept on a very short leash!!
These guys are awesome! We called yesterday morning to hold a spot, and called when we arrived last night at 9pm. They came out, guided us back, and even spotted us without even asking. It was a great stop, with great people, we wouldn’t hesitate to stop in again!
Awesome view and a great owner!
The owner is a super nice guy. Great view, very chill, float and play in the river. One of a kid. Great hospitality.
The owner, Mike, was incredibly hospitable and made us feel right at home. We were the only tent campers that night and he set us up with a prime plush grassy spot right next to the creek bed. It was $20 to camp for the night and $5 for a TON of firewood, which he picked and delivered to us. His German Shepherd, Stella, was a sweetheart as well and got along well with our pup. It was beautiful walking along the creek edge in the evening and there are a ton of fossils to be found in the chert rock.
I can’t recommend this place enough— Mike really made it wonderful.
This campground is beautiful! We called a # off the internet and Left a voicemail. Mike called back and was extremely helpful! It was dark and we weren’t familiar with the area so he walked us through how to get there. Mike even offered to start our fire for us before we got there so it was ready when we arrived. He scrummaged up some fire wood for us and everything! So kind. $25 for a tent site with water and electric. Sites are beautiful right off a river. There’s a rocky bank to walk on. Great experience!
