Zan's Creekside Campground is a family owned and operated park that offers RV camping, tent sites, and day time access to the river for non-campers. All RV sites are under natural shade provided by the plentiful supply of tall trees on the campground. Also, all sites are less than a one minute walk to the beech. RV Sites are OPEN YEAR ROUND!!!! Popular activities include river tube floating from Grand Falls to our location. Grand Falls is about five minutes away by car, the return float trip takes about 1-1/2 to 2 hours (we DO rent tubes). Our location is very popular for launching or retrieving kayaks and we provide parking for vehicles left at one end of the trip (we do NOT rent kayaks). Fishing is always an enjoyable pastime here as well. There is a very nice Mexican food restaurant located on site. We offer weekly and monthly rates for both 30 amp and 50 amp RV Sites. Well behaved pets with responsible owners are welcome. Alligators must be kept on a very short leash!!

Great little campground on Shoal Creek. Easy access to the water and lots of trees. Mike is great and always available for anything.

John was super nice and is building a second camp area across the highway. This current spot is down a hill, tucked in the trees, next to a small river/ creek. He can’t get WiFi, and I could only get 1 bar with Verizon. Loud partiers in a separate camp across the river played loud music til after midnight. Sadly, John has no control over them.
The spaces are a bit small and mostly back in. I fit my 25’ motor home just fine but if you have a big rig, call first. Sites are gravel and are level.
This worked in a pinch as I was motoring across the US but overall somewhat limited.

We had some trouble finding our way because it was late and dark so we called the owners and even though it was late at night they were super friendly and helpful! Our site was on the river which was super pretty!

We’re on a cross country road trip and stopped in for the night. The owners are very friendly and helpful and the site is lovely, right by the water. Definitely recommend.

I enjoyed my time at Xans. However, fair warning to those in a tent or in a camper van pop-up: The highway and bridge that are located here at this campground is very loud. I was awakened several times during the night. If you were a light sleeper, you might want to consider somewhere else if you’re in a tent. Probably if you’re in a RV, you won’t notice it so much. But it is very loud.

Arrived late evening and owner took us to our spot near the creek. Bathrooms close by and okay- could use some rubber mats on shower floors and while there warm enough for a evening shower but on a cooler day would need heat. Road was a bit busy early evening but quieted down. Was lovely walking dogs near the Creekside. Looks like maybe some good fishing downstream. Slept good. There are some permanent residents there it looks like.

This park has such potential! It’s a truly lovely spot however we arrived to dog poop and trash which probably skewed the rest of the visit for me.
The electricity was all over the place dropping down to 111 with only the fridge and water heater on. I’m just glad we didn’t need to use the AC. Water pressure was low probably due to sharing a spigot with the site next to us.
There is a bridge next to the park so during the day it was pretty noisy but calmed down at night.
Couldn’t locate a trash receptacle.
When leaving the park my husband had to get out and adjust the grates to avoid tire damage.

These guys are awesome! We called yesterday morning to hold a spot, and called when we arrived last night at 9pm. They came out, guided us back, and even spotted us without even asking. It was a great stop, with great people, we wouldn’t hesitate to stop in again!
Awesome view and a great owner!
The owner is a super nice guy. Great view, very chill, float and play in the river. One of a kid. Great hospitality.
