“the ultimate family destination”
Located along the Indian River Lagoon, Indian RiverSide Park features an interactive play fountain, butterfly garden, a fishing pier, walking path, four picnic pavilions, and the two-story Frances Langford Center available for banquets and private rentals. The site has been the home to many different people & cultures including the Ais Indians, Racey & Leach families, St. Joseph Novitiate and College and the Florida Institute of Technology. Additional attractions include the Children’s Museum of the Treasure Coast, U.S Sailing Center, the Mansion at Tuckahoe also available for private rentals, and the Maritime & Yachting Museum. Future plans include refurbishing Captain Sewall’s home into a nature center connecting to a boardwalk through a marsh lagoon. Indian RiverSide Park was acquired by Martin County using Preservation 2000 grant funds provided by Florida Communities Trust.
