“A good place for steak”
If you are looking for a fun time in Jamestown, then the Frontier Bar and Grill is a sure bet. It’s a popular place, usually boasting a lively crowd, most nights. Regardless, it is a good place to procure inexpensive drinks and food.

Confirmed by 3 users | Last reported on May 27, 2022We stopped here for one night. Water and electric available. Pull through site accommodated our 36’ Super C. No bathhouse available. Quiet and far enough from highway that there was no highway noise. Some large trees between sites. Hard packed gravel and some grass - was not muddy but could be in a strong rainstorm. Would stay again but could be tightly packed in the high season.

Staff was rude. Online it says they take AAA but she said no discounts during offseason. Had to pay with a check or cash even though the store takes credit. Sites get muddy fast. No road noise but the bar gets busy and they can be loud on the weekend. Some sites have picnic tables. We paid for full hookup but then were given a site with no sewer. We had to remove our neighbor’s hose for access. Wifi is decent. Liked seeing the buffalo from the fence.

Campground in the middle of a field next to some fenced in Buffalo. Pay 25 dollars cash inside the restaurant which isn’t marked very well. Electric and pump out but no water. We were the only rv there. Fine for one night as you’re passing through.

The wifi here is one of the best wifi's I have seen at a campground. Staff are great people. The spot I was at had all hook ups. It has a dumpster and a shower house I was told they have a laundry area but I did not need to use it. It is very quiet. Everyone kinda stays to them self. I stayed in this campground once before and if I am ever in Jamestown again I will stay here. There are trees at every camp spot. The trailers stay cool on there own with the shade that's the best part.

We attempted to stop for the night in Fargo but got skunked. Looked down the road on the app and saw this place, made the call and a reservation. Thought we would overnight but ended up staying three nights.

Ok for a one nighter. The bathhouse was locked. All of the buildings were run down. I was close to the interstate and just down from the buffalo museum. They only accept cash. We stayed at a pull through site. Campsite was mostly dirt and gravel. Water pressure was adequate. There appeared to be allot of residential campers at the back of the site.
