Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on March 09, 2023We stayed here three nights while visiting a friend at the Mayo Clinic. Not very convenient to Mayo, but it was what we could find.
Campsite was very good for us. Pull-thru, gravel, level site with FHU. Everything worked.
Host was friendly and helpful at check-in. Didn’t use the facilities, so can’t comment.
Wi-Fi worked ok. Good 4-bar T-mobile access as well.
Lots of long-term campers here. Everyone was quiet and respectful. Would stay again when in JAX area.

This RV park is located in NE Jacksonville FL area. We used it as a home base for visiting Cumberland Island National Seashore and other area beaches. Our Scamp was dwarfed by the big rigs--some 30 ft.--and the bulk of those present were on extended stays. One family we met has been there for over a year. The bathrooms are clean and minimally used as most rigs are hooked up to the sewer and contain their own facilities. A car wash is available for free use. Laundry facilities and free WIFI are available, although we did not use either. To answer the suggested questions:
- How was your arrival? Easy, we prepaid and pulled into our assigned drive through "lot."
- Do you have any tips to make it a better experience? No
- What was your favorite thing about this location? Easy access to our other destinations
- Any negatives to report? The bathrooms have no towels--Bring in your own to dry your hands. The women's shower area had no hooks for clothes or towels, although the men's did. The shower rooms were cold (in March) but heated in the evening.
