Jacksonville beach, is a city of it's own extremely unique from, people to the amazing food, subs and a culture uniquely awesome. If you visit this town I urge you to drive first to 7th north turning towards the 7-11. Go into the plaza on your right after the stop sign and park quickly nearest to the void building. In front you should see a free magazine that will let you know, anything going on in general around you, drink specials, and concerts. Also, if you wish to party with jag's hit the ritz after a monday homegame this may be true for Sunday too and if they win the players tend to give back and free tequila shots and coronas are always fun. Lynches, on 1st and 6th is infamous and likely to host a live band with a relaxed atmosphere by the bar dance floor in the middle and a secondary more quite bar area to the left of the bathrooms. The bar on the outside will always have a shorter line and on weekends will save you time. If you stumble out along 1st street nearest to the beach make a right (walk straight from ritz) here you will see three bars, choose via your mood, Wine loft on the left adjacent to the chase bank atm's that are the cheapest and safest in the area if you need cash. The bar connected 3 monks has good food and likely faster drinks if everywhere is packed. Out front you will see two bars and the one on the left offers games and on the right one of my favorites along with many others, it has two floors first more relaxed, outside is the only smoking area and fastest bar also, talking is easy. Go up stairs to dance and you realize why, that line existed.. The pier bar is a must especially on Sunday and I said grab a void hope you did they are locals and mainly for locals and loved by tourists and all ages plus, its free why not?
Great place for fishing! Jacksonville Beach was full of people fishing!!!
The sand is white and soft and there is enough space to walk and relax! Sunset was beautiful!Families and couples were truly enjoying it!
It is worth getting at the pier and walk it..birds fly all around you and wait for a treat. Later in the afternoon waves became bigger but this didn't ruin our walk. We just went for dinner at a restaurant located next to the beach.
Prices were affordable to feed the whole family and the food was delicious!
On the weekends the beach can get pretty packed. Parking's usually easy to find though if you get there early. There are lots of restaurants and places to get a cocktail right on the beach, which is awesome.
