Beaver Mountain

Beaver Mountain rises to almost 10,000 ft. This is a hike up site for Paragliders and Hangliders. It is one of the best bench-up sites in the area. If the wind is strong from the west the 600' hike puts you in position to bench up over 3000' to the top of Beaver Mountain.This is rugged terrain and not a good place to get blown back; nothing but road less wilderness and deep ravines behind the mountain.Sunset views from beaver have been featured in Paragliding magazine.
