“An outdoor paradise”
Welcome to Jackson Hole/Snake River KOA, gateway to an outdoor paradise that includes Jackson Hole, Grand Teton and Yellowstone national parks, Bridger-Teton National Forest and the Snake and Hoback rivers. This mountain campground on the banks of the Snake River features RV and tent sites shaded by aspens, cottonwoods and giant spruce trees. Camping Cabins overlook Snake River, with tent sites along Horse Creek and the Snake. Deluxe Cabins offer bathrooms, kitchenettes and DIRECTV. (Some Deluxe Cabins overlook the creek, and all have a two-day minimum stay.) Enjoy guided whitewater rafting or scenic float trips (10% discount when you stay at KOA). Rent a tube for the whole day and float down to KOA. Relax on KOA's "Snake River Beach" and read a book or play in the river. Area activities include fishing the Snake, horseback riding just across the street, hiking and soaking in Granite Hot Springs. Open April 15 - October 15 (dependent on snow conditions).
This is now called Snake River RV Park and Cabins. Great.place to stay.
Spent 3 nights here after Yellowstone. Great location and very convenient for whitewater rafting with Dave Hansen. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Really is nice set up for the cabins, but not the RV sites. The sites are very small and close together. Our travel trailer is only 24 ft and our site was too small to park our truck. We ended up parking partially in the road. Our picnic table was 2 feet from our neighbors sewer hole. We did our laundry while there and took forever because the staff were using 2 of 4 machines for cabin bedding. Was very inconvenient. Although there are definitely some good qualities to this place, we won’t go back again.
