Some sections are a bit bumpy but nothing going slow won’t remedy, and it’s not long in dirt. There is a loop that goes in front of the water where some people were fishing, and several campers were set up. I chose a little spur road off to the right of the loop and basically had a dirt lot to myself, because I prefer that. I went for a walk and noticed it was buggy by the water, but it wasn’t at all back where I parked. There are also some sites off to the left of the loop. It’s nothing amazing, but it is pretty enough and probably great if you fish. My dog was able to run around without bothering anyone off to the side where we were. There is a dump station a couple miles down the road, closer to Island Park that also has potable water. It was a good stop for me between Driggs and Bozeman. Verizon fluctuated between 1 and 3 bars over where I camped and was more or less fine.

Great for an overnight. Easy access off of highway, plenty of space. Nice views. Fit 40’ fifth wheel no problem. Pulled on a Saturday around 4:00 pm and plenty of spots to choose from. Decent amount of campers out here. Some road noise, but set back about a mile from Hwy.

Several sites available on a Sunday night in August. Some sites harder to access on bumpy, rutted dirt roads. Most sites in the open plains, but some sites tucked away in the woods (less windy for us) and close to paved road. Sites mostly uneven, but doable. Several dirt roads for OHVs as well. 1 hour south of Yellowstone.

Easy access from the main highway and the dirt roads were doable in our Fleetwood Southwind 32V (33ft, Class A). Plenty of area to spread out as desired.
The area is mostly open field, NOT the forest one drives through in much of this region.

Coordinates: (44.3186981, -111.4297664) this place is pretty cool. A lot of space and not a lot of campers. There was a fire pit in our spot (which we didn’t use bc of fire season, but nice to have). We had lake access and plenty of room camping in our SUV. The road is pretty rocky but manageable for 4x4.

A couple of miles off highway 20. Nice dirt/gravel road. A few big holes with water but no problem for motor home. Big spaces out spots. Several along with us running generators but no noise issue as none at night.

Wide open and dusty in the wind. Easy to find a spot. Road passable in most places for big rigs. Area is frequented by locals and off-road vehicles. Good stopover if headed to or from Yellowstone.

Large wide open space off 47 scenic by-way (1- mile from 20) that will accommodate several large rigs with toads. Several off shoot roads that most vehicle can travel. A dozen r more sites that will accommodate large rigs as well. Great view of Henry’s fork and beautiful vista of this part of Idaho.
Up scenic highway 47 to Mesa Falls. Several off shout roads with camping spots big enough for our 40’ Tiffin and towed Jeep. Very private, off hwy and QUIET.
