It's a big gravel lot right next to the parking lot. Looks like a mix of retirees and long term residents. Nothing too fancy but I didn't feel unsafe, either. For a casino parking lot beautiful view of the mountains. Quiet enough for a good nights sleep. Didn't see any security.
I called ahead of time to see how long we could stay. The woman at security responded by asking how long we *wanted* to stay. "Three days?" I asked. She said she thought 3 days would be ok, as long as we were parked behind the big rigs in the RV lot so they "couldn't see us." Ok.
The lot was pretty crowded, but we found a spot on the perimeter. There's some noise from the freeway and other RV's generators. On the plus side there are no bright security lights in the parking lot, which makes it more pleasant for sleeping.
Many of the rigs we saw when arrived were still there when we left. We never saw security - so maybe as long as you're behind the big rigs, they can't see you. ;)
This is a level dirt parking lot just past the pavement. You will see all the rigs parked. security drive-through quite often.
On site garbage cans.
Short walk to the casino.
We would definitely stay here again!
Very nice and free. Lots of RVs parked but plenty of room. Freeway noise but not bad. Large flat gravel area beyond overflow parking. Place to put garbage on the way out
It is what it is, a dirt lot. Security comes through regularly.
Needed a place to overnight. Had a nice expensive dinner at the casino bistro and wife deposited a $20 into a slot machine. No withdrawals made. The night was uneventful and quiet. Just what we needed after our first long haul with the RV.
It’s basically a loud truck stop with lots of loud Semi trucks that run their engines all night. Gravel lot in back, security came often and did patrols. Just was really loud and was at its core, a truck stop. Was not relaxing like some of the other spots in the area.
This is a gravel basic casino lot. We asked & asked till security lost their patience with us about staying here, (didn’t want to overstay our welcome). But actually they REALLY DONT care how long you stay. There are several that actually winter here the whole season. They do have trash pickup but otherwise you will have to go elsewhere for dump & water. It’s not a bad place to stay but just know it’s in the middle of the city with MH & truckers coming in @ all hours. Didn’t bother us but some it might. Easy walk over to casino for dinner & a little gambling hubby win $475.00 me I managed to lose my $100 in a little over a hour. They also have a great bowling alley that stays busy all the time. Not expensive & smoke free. Have a Starbucks for some internet & several great restaurants. We would definitely stay here again. We stayed here in a 41ft MH with toad. No problems getting a space.
Very busy gravel lot that was a combination of Class A's and Trucks. Trucks came roaring in at all hours of the night kicking up dirt & idling the engines all night. We were the furtherest away from the trucks, but still heard them all night. This was the loudest boon docking experience we have had yet. No services, but decent cell signal. Wasn't worth it due to the noise, the number of rv's/traffic that was going thru the lot at all hours of the night. The casino food at the POM was good however. We didn't find the location very relaxing due to the constant noise.
Basically it's a huge lot with good service and a Walmart a few miles away. Not bad for a place to park and go explore palm springs or check out the casino. They have a bowling alley that's all we did there.
