“historic soda fountain”
This soda fountain was build by the Bastian Blessings "Superior Fountains" manufactures out of South Chicago, IL. It is the "Michigan Model" and was built between 1930 and 1940 for Herbert Tollas who owned the Pharmacy in Sawyer Michigan. Latter the late Stan and Virginia Schlipp purchased the business. After closing the Pharmacy in 2011, the Schlipp family decided to sell this historic piece of americana to the Hesston Steam Museum, at a greatly discounted price, where it is to be the center piece of our new cafe and restroom building.
