Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on June 24, 2019The owner works hard to keep up with this little park. Gravel interior roads, dirt and grass sites. We weren't able to get level front to back, but not so bad it impacted our stay. Decent spacing for most sites. The park was never full so we had privacy and quiet.
Lots and lots of trees. We were told when making reservations that satellite access was doubtful, and in fact we couldn't connect. No cable, and our ATT MiFi worked on and off with 1 bar of LTE.
Tent sites are on the river, but there is access to the water for others. No real place to swim, casting is a challenge for fisherman due to all the trees. But the sound of the roaring water makes the best music for hanging out outside.
Picnic table and fire ring at each site. The interior lights aren't too annoying.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The area is beautiful with lots of rivers and lakes and thick forests. Small town amenities and eateries in nearby Detroit - one gas station, small market, post office, etc.
