The small beach and river access is what makes this park great, the friendly family managing it makes it even better. This is not a great place if you plan on working remote from your camper. The cell coverage is good, but I believe there is only one tower that covers Cascade and the surrounding area. All I could get off T-mobile was 2Mbs on the weekend. During the weekdays it bumped up to 6Mbs. Wifi at the park is limited to 1Mbs. If you ask nicely you might get a bump to 2Mbs. I did take the family up there for a working vacation and the bandwith limits made it tough. But the Ashley Inn (affiliated with the park in some way) let me use their wifi which was much faster and more stable. I've stayed there twice so far, site 13 was a wifi deadzone but the manager said he was putting in another tower so that may be fixed. Site 4 had great coverage, aside from the bandwidth limits.
If internet doesn't matter, this place is great. They have canoes and kayaks for use that you can take out right from the park. There is a path that runs along the river from one end of the town to the other and it starts at Water's edge and heads south. Cascade also has a rec center with pool. D-9 grocery is a 5 minute bike ride away. Park is clean and safe, and both times we were there full of kids. While we were setting up our kids made friends and ran off to play. Some of the sites have fire pits as well. The sites are a little tight and packed in though. Lake cascade is very close for even more water fun. Make sure to grab a meal at Grandma's while you're there.

Well run. What we loved - they have spacious pull through full hook up sites. Very pretty with the large trees, fall colors and access to pond/river. Nice clean bathrooms/ showers though they didn’t have private stalls or showers. Super nice staff and discounted rates after labor day. Good WiFi Cable. Kayaks available. Check in 1pm/check out 12pm
Not much we didn’t like. Some of the driving isles are smallish and not one way. The town of Cascade is small so only a few restaurants were open. McCall is 30 minutes north. Prices are Moderate to expensive ($42-$45 night)

This is our second time at Water's Edge and we do love it here. The location is great and the lake access can't be beat. Two minor complaints being that the cable was out of order and the laundry was closed. When I asked about the laundry, the guy at the desk just shrugged and said that he didn't think that they were going to fix it this year? Cable outage may have been temporary, not sure. When staying for a week, laundry is important and yes, we could go into town but that would've been really difficult without a vehicle. Overall a great summer spot.

Let me start by stating I made a last minute reservation...
The bad:
The site I got was labeled as a 30/50 amp full hookup, which I needed a 50 amp to run some things in my RV. The site was a 30 amp only. Both types of sites are charged at the same rate, so I didn't bother to address it.
The site was all dirt/bark.
WiFi is too slow to use. I had to use cell data for everything, even Google searches.
No trash pickup or dumpsters. There's trash cans spread out though.
Turns are too tight for some sites if you have a larger RV.
The good:
The park was quiet and peaceful. Right off the highway and close to town.
The main office staff was extremely nice.
The riverside beach is pretty.
There's a walking path along the river.
There's a concrete pad, picnic table, and fire ring at every site.
There's a laundry and shower facility.
Water pressure is 45 psi, which is perfect!

Staff was friendly! Unfortunately spaces were tight and seemed to be a lack of etiquette as having children and adults walking through other’s campsites. Water was calm at beach access. There were vehicles parked in the main drive access throughout the park.
