Lakeview RV Resort

We stayed here for three nights while my wife worked a couple shifts in the med center. They have a shuttle service which was very helpful. The park was very clean, nice amenities, and had friendly staff. For what the park is and where it's located, we were very pleased.

The down side is the location receives a fair amount of traffic noise from the highways and railroad that are nearby. The park itself seemed failrly quite.

Park accepts Good Sam discounts of 10%.

Bathrooms are very clean as well.

Roads not wide enough to maneuver rigs (we had a 33ft and had to be extra cautious).

Our site was directly across from the trash dumpster so we had an extremely pungent smell our whole stay.

Sprinklers were on around 10pm for a couple hours (approx) and soaked our picnic table so we couldn’t sit down. Since it’s in the rules not to move the tables, we had no choice but to dig the chairs out or go inside.

The view form our angle was of what I think is an airport or landing pad of some sort because our beautiful nighttime view was of flashing strobe lights.

There was cops/ambulance and/or fire trucks called to the store next door 3x within the first few hours we were here. Not very comforting.

The roads and/paths are not lit hardly at all. I understand they may not want to disrupt a restful night for their guests but it should be at least dimly lit for safety.

We were a group of 5 families who originally booked pull through sites. We were suggested by the staff to move to their newer side with back in sites. What they fail to tell you is next to a junkyard who starts making noise at 3am. It’s literally right next to it. You can see the machinery from the 600s sites. We stayed at sites 626, 628, 630, 632, and 634. All were affected. Do not let them book you there! They try to sell you the newer sites and are quick to tell you the quiet hours and speed limit regulations but don’t tell you the junkyard next door starts their machines at that time. When we complained they simply said there was nothing they can do. It’s a shame that they couldn’t make it right with us. So be prepared. It really is a same because the place itself is really nice and it has great amenities but unfortunately you are not able to sleep.

Stayed here 2018 beautiful place and very clean. Heading there again today 2023. Highly recommend.

Very well kept facilities -- game room, pool, and common areas, including laundry and showers. Convenient shuttle to the hospitals downtown with accommodating, friendly bus driver who will go out of his way to meet your needs. The shuttle also stops at a grocery, which makes it easy to get necessary things if you're intimidated by Houston traffic. If you need long term access to Houston hospitals for a health care need, like my family did, this facility is definitely for you. Just cannot say enough good things! Only drawback is the loud highway noise but if your RV fan is as noisy as ours the 'white noise' from the fan takes care of any bother.
