March 23rd, 2020: Info provided by KY Transportation Cabinet confirms multiple reports from Jan 2019 & earlier. As of Mar 23, 2020, all KY Rest Areas and Welcome Centers remain open curing the COVID-19 pandemic. Overnight RV Parking is allowed. Sleeping in vehicle permitted. No set maximum time limit, but authorities may question stays over 12-24 hours. Lighted, appears level; one RVer says little traffic noise during sleeping hours.
