The sites are paved and unpaved. There are some cabins and trailers that are vacation type homes. The campground is one mile from a very nice, large sandy beach. There is a hot tub and heated pool, petting zoo and bike rentals. Also, laundry room and very nice showers.
I'd stay here again is a second. Loved Holland.

Nice. Paved and gravel. Some grass at each site. If you want to be at the beach there is a park closer, but it's basically a parking lot at the beach. What's nice about oak grove is waking up to birds singing and having trees around. Holland is a cute town and the tulip festival is pretty. The owners of the park have Christian quotes everywhere in the store and jesus music playing, but otherwise seem like good people.

Very well maintained and clean RV resort lots of trees and we enjoyed hot tub swimming pool very much. Our grandson loved the playground and petting zoo with goats. One of a kind restrooms and showers also super clean. Easy access to the huge sandy beach and lots of shopping and dining around available.

Oak Grove is a very well kept and clean campground in a good location in a residential/vacation home area across from Lake Macatawa. We had a back/in premium full hook-up site on a level paved pad with lots of green space on both sides and included cable. The site also had two water spickets, which was great for washing sand off after being at the beach. The Holland State Park Beach on Lake Michigan is only a one mile bike ride away. Premium sites do not include a fire pit for some reason but the lesser sites do. The pool and jacuzzi are nice. Clean and well maintained bathrooms and showers. But they do have more rules than any where else we’ve stayed at before and we’ve been to resort style campgrounds. No alcohol permitted. There is a $5 charge per day for each visitor that comes to see you. We had three adults camping since my daughter was with us and they charged us an extra $5 adult fee a day for her but wouldn’t let her swim during adult swim even though she’s over 18 but not 21. There was a host walking around letting people know when we were “breaking” rules. That made for more of an unpleasant stay than it should have been. Don’t plan on using your laptop on their free WiFi, it’s against the rules. Despite that, if we were in the area, I think we’d stay there again.

There is a reason this campground has many 5 star reviews. It is very well run. Everything is clean and updated. Our picnic table looked brand new. Our suite was packed gravel, not a cement pad but it was so level, my levelers didn’t get used. It had been well raked and the fire pit cleaned out before we arrived. The bathrooms are clean, modern and look newly renovated. They have a secure entry and exit system that requires a unique PIN code. This place is very family friendly. Lots of stuff for kids to do. They have a well maintained pool, basketball court and a ton of games. They also have a goat and chicken pen. Many if not most of the sites are occupied by park homes or full season campers so site availability is not what it seems on the site map. Cell signal is actually 2bars of 5G with T Mobile.

The location is great with so many features like a nice pool, small petting zoo, dog park and biking and walking trail right outside of Gates. We really liked this for a private campground. We would like a bit more space but with the location so close to so much shocking it hasn’t been turned into condos or something

The main house is under construction.
The management “forgot” to mention that on the website. Terrible noise from 8am to 4pm!!!
