Welcome to Lake Macatawa Campground located in Holland, Michigan. This campground has 211 campsites with 11 paved lots, part of the Holland State Park with reservations being made at (800) 44-PARKS. Grassy and wooded sites available. Close to bike path, beach, and pier boat launch 1 mile from entrance, close to inland lake Macatawa and Lake Michigan. No alcohol, ground fires in pits only.
Everyone is going to say that this is one of the best beaches on the West coast of Lake Michigan. And while the sand is good, it gets crowded. very crowded. If you're up for a party, this is the place. If you want something a little quieter and family oriented, head up north to PJ Hoffmaster State Park.
Have to agree with David. It's crowded and busy. However quite awesome!
