Reviews
From reading other reviews online I imagined this place had recently shut down, but it was en route to our destination and I wanted to check out all of the statues and mannequins before they got torn down or succumbed to the elements. I was happily surprised to discover it was open (but there are FOR SALE signs up, so maybe not for long?) The lady who runs the shop was really nice; she gave everyone in my family a piece of petrified wood. We fed the ostriches, and used the bathroom (complete with creepy mannequin in the bath tub). I got a lot of great photos. If you are someone who appreciates weird and kitschy stuff, this place is a good place to stretch your legs, use the restroom and snap some pics.
Appears to be closed. There are signs saying the land is for sale and there is a gate across the entrance. Everything looks in disrepair.
This was the cutest shop I have been to on our road trip! The owner was so sweet and was so helpful. She even gave us a few free items! You can tell this store is their heart and they want to share it with you. I would absolutely recommend this as a stop on your I-40 adventure!
The business has for sale signs on it. We were there after 5pm and was closed. Doesn’t look to be open at all. Did get some pix of the dinosaurs still in place.
Dingy and overpriced. The owner retired and the couple who run it are nice. Needs an overhaul. Nice rock and wood.
