Our mission is simple: to provide the best products and service to our customers at the lowest prices possible. We take great pride in our company, our commitment to customer service and in the products we sell. Our online store is designed to provide you with a safe and secure environment to browse our product catalog. Originally known as the Holbrook Rock Shop, Jim and Cathy Gray started the Petrified Wood Company more than 48 years ago with little more than a pickup truck and a pile of petrified wood. From those humble beginnings we have since grown to become the worldwide premier dealer of Arizona Rainbow Petrified Wood. We own the mineral rights to several sections of land near the Petrified Forest National Park. We do our own digging, cutting and polishing, creating stunning full rounds, tabletops and bookends. Jim Gray's Petrified Wood Company remains a family owned and operated business.

This shop has about everything you need from petrified wood art and souvenirs to post cards, hats and toys. Something for everyone.

Love! If you like fossils, petrified wood and rock, this is for you. We spent at least an hour in there and didn't see it all. There is a private collection on display that is fabulous. Everything is well-organized, clean and nice. Good prices too.
