Kiholo Bay, also known as Turtle Bay, is a series of beaches located in the Kona District on the Big Island of Hawaii. First used as a man-made fishing pond, Kiholo Bay is now under protection by the State of Hawaii as a wildlife reserve. Approximately 2 miles long (3.2 km), it is one of the island's largest bays. Kiholo Bay is now a popular site for tourists and nature enthusiasts.
