“a unique park off I-80!”
Prairie Oasis is a unique I-80 park on 13 acres with a small lake, large grassy areas, and mature trees. When traveling through southeastern Nebraska you can see our sign from I-80.
Patty and Todd are the kindest people I have met. We set out on a 6 month road trip and their Prairie Oasis was the first stop, we intended to stay only 2 nights and ended up adding 2 more nights on to our stay. We ran into normal camper issues and Todd was more than willing to give us a hand. Patty had fresh baked goods every day and they were out of this world delicious. The bathrooms are impeccably clean and they have a great laundry area. We have a 4 year old who was able to play on the swing set and had a blast in the sand box with all the toys they have there. The views were amazing. You can truly tell they take good care of these grounds and it is evident how much they enjoy hosting campers. We wil be returning to stay again on our way home.
The owners, Patty and Todd, are very accommodating and super friendly. My husband and I stayed in a cabin with our cat and it was a cozy space with a heater, mini fridge, coffee pot, and fire pit. I am so glad I found this place-we will definitely stay here next time we drive through on a road trip.
This place is incredible. We were greeted with warm, freshly baked muffins, and friendly owners, Patty and Todd. The grounds are clean and beautiful. There is a pond, and an incredible 360 degree view of the Nebraska skyline. Campsite also came with a free firewood delivery! It's also worth noting that the bastions and showers are beautiful. So very clean and private. This place is pure magic.
This place was really nice! Camp site was easy to get in and out and the staff was super friendly. Bunnies all over the place. It looked like the bathrooms were newly remodeled… just like new.
Patty was absolutely amazing and accommodating above and beyond what we had requested or paid for. Since other reservations fell through, she gave us a campsite with an electrical hookup (as opposed to one without, which was our original plan) and it was directly next to one of the water pumps on site! Score! Furthermore, she provided us with firewood and asked whether or not we had the means to start it, and albeit we were prepared she still offered resources to ignite it. Unfortunately it's directly next to I 80 west, but with the free paddle boats, absolutely amazing service, newly renovated (and air conditioned!!) bathrooms, and free wifi it's certainly worth the stop for those making a long trek. I will definitely stop by the next time I'm in Nebraska!!!
The one star review had great things to say about this campground, so I'm thinking it was a mistake. This makes me so sad that it brings down the overall rating, because we really appreciated the hospitality and cleanliness when we stayed here. Especially the bathrooms/showers! We had planned to stay here on our return home as well, but our kids melted down two hours before the campground, so we had to stay elsewhere. When I called Patty to let her know, she was sad to miss us, but was more concerned about our kids than us breaking the reservation. I highly recommend Prairie Oasis!
We stayed at the Prairie Oasis in early April 2015. We arrived around 8 pm, tired and ready to rest after a long day of driving. The campground was visibIe from I-80 and easy to find. The owner was still in the office and was very helpful and gracious, even offering us free firewood since it was such a cold night! There were only a handful of other campers there. We had one side of the campground to ourselves, and our stay was was peaceful and quiet. The traffic noise from 80 is minimal and did not bother us at all. We didn't have a chance to enjoy the paddle boats, but it looked like fun! The only reason I give this a 4 instead of a 5 is that we were traveling with kiddos, and a little bigger playground would have been fun for them to get out the wiggles before we got on the road again (they have a swingset by the lake). The price was great, though, and we would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed this camp ground. The new owners are extremely wonderful people! The pond was great for our doggie she loved swimming in it. We could even hose her down afterwards. The fire pit was all stocked and ready when we arrived too. We had a lovely evening there with a little rain in the morning but once again the sweet owners were very kind and made sure we had dry wood if we wanted a fire. Lovely place, an Oasis for sure! We will definitely stay again and recommend to anyone traveling through this area!
This place is recently renovated and the owners have plans to improve it more. The cabins are small but super cute, and the owners are the nicest people I have ever met. They have free paddle boats and a pond if you have kids, and are pet friendly. The camp ground is flat with little trees (because it's Nebraska, don't you know) but feels very safe. The only thing I would say is if you're a light sleeper bring ear plugs because the freeway noises travel far. Great value for the price!
