“it's big and it swings”
Hebron has the World’s Largest Porch Swing, located at the City Park at 5th and Jefferson. Local volunteers built a swing with a seat 32 feet long. Because Hebron does not have the world’s largest front porch, the swing is in Roosevelt Park downtown. In true Nebraska fashion, a section of center pivot forms the swing’s top girder. This top girder is actually a subcomponent of the Reinke Corner Gator, a corner watering system, manufactured in Deshler, NE. The swing is said to be long enough for 24 children or 18 adults. Some say 25 adults, but one web commentator remarked, "as far as I’m concerned, any more than 10 and the quaint opportunities for romance are out of the question."

The park is located at South 5th & Jefferson. The swing was big & fun. I'd go again.
Great stop by or the family: we anticipated the swing and then found the amazing bonus playground, where we played and picnicked for over an hour.
Do stop and enjoy your time on whichever swing is your speed.
This was a neat stop especially to stretch your legs the swing was neat and they had a great kids park there as well. Great place for picnic.
It’s just a long porch swing but a fun stop for the kids to stretch their legs.
A nice stop on a road trip. I stopped to take a couple pictures just for fun and it has a nice small park for my dog to run around in. All around a nice small town and a nice small break with a fun addition.
Was cool to see but was not where the app says it is located . It is actually located on 5th and Jefferson at the city park
This was a great stop on our day of World’s Largest items. We stayed for almost an hour because they have a great little playground for the kids to get their energy out. The sand that used to be there has now been replaced with rubber mulch which is so much cleaner and softer to walk on. I wish we would have brought a lunch with us and made a picnic out of it as well. The swing is massive and the kids loved swinging on it.
Map didn't take us directly there, but it was easy enough to find. Gave us a good chance to get out of the car and let the kids play at the park. The park appeared to be well taken care of, and there were public restrooms across the street at the fire station.
Our map didn't take us right to it, but we eventually found it in Roosevelt Park.
This attraction is located in a nicely maintained park. Bring a picnic lunch or dinner and eat at one of the picnic tables. Public restroom is available across the street at the fire station.
We relaxed for a bit on the swing and enjoyed the nice weather. An elderly resident even made a trip over to us from his home just to bring us a button to remember our visit. This man's visit and how clean and well-maintained the swing was made it apparent that the town is proud of their swing. Very sweet!
they've since put a cover over it, we hardly saw it; a little disappointing because we had expectations of a really large swing, tall wise. it's not tall at all, but it is long; you could fit a family on it.
