Description
April 4th, 2018: RVer reports that Overnight RV Parking is allowed. State of OK has no policy either allowing or disallowing overnight parking in these areas, and states that these areas have no on-site security, so those parking overnight do so at their own risk. This parking area is off but not separated from County Road, with room for 1 - 2 RVs Unlighted, believed to be level. Should be safe & quiet. Historical Marker, no other known amenities.
Directions
On NW side of US 259 at jct with CR 254 & CR 256. Jct is ~ 9.2 mi N of jct with SR 144 at Octavia, OK, or ~ 5.0 mi S of jct with SR 62 at Bid Cedar, OK. Turn W on CR 254 & go ~ 500 ft to parking area on L.
