“experience one of Healdsburg’s most historic residences”
This Bed and Breakfast combines the comfort that today’s wine country travelers expect with an ideal location – just three blocks from the Healdsburg Plaza. During your stay you will have the chance to experience one of Healdsburg’s most historic residences. This Queen Anne Victorian home was built for the son of Cyrus Alexander in 1905. Cyrus was a large landholder in the late 1800’s and owned most of what is called today, Alexander Valley. The George Alexander House is noted for its architecture – particularly the quatrefoil window. This B&B has earned the reputation as providing one of the most comfortable stays in the area. (See “What Our Customers Say”). Mel and Holly, the current owners have spent the past 6 years upgrading the property. While the exterior promises Victorian charm, the interior is noted for its contemporary furnishings accented with numerous Asian pieces collected by its owners. The Inn’s 4 bedrooms vary from traditional sized rooms with queen beds to a large stunning suite with king bed. Several have in-room fireplaces. All rooms have private baths. Room rates include a full sumptuous breakfast that includes a hot entrée. Many guests request our recipes! Special dietary needs can also be accommodated with advance notice.
