It didn't feel off the beaten path at all so it didn't even feel like camping. The bathrooms were ok but were not cleaned often. They don't allow campfires either so overall it wasn't our most favorite and we wouldn't stay there again.
Very noisy with trains who whistle every hour, highway nearby. It's run by a Chevron gaz station.
$17.95 per night for tents
Nice RV park, close enough to Coeur d'Alene for visit there. Not far from Silverwood Amusement Park. Check-in at convenience store in front of park. Large roomy pull through sites with full hook-ups. Shady spots - campground is well taken care of. Close to highway & railroad, but we chose a site well in the back and the noise never was noticeable. Clean baths & showers, but one of the women's showers only had a trickle of water - needed maintenance. Laundry was convenient but dryer heating element was not working when we were there. Very friendly staff and price was very reasonable.
Ask for a spot in the back of the campground - to keep the highway noise to a minimum.

At first I though the price was insane and then I arrived. This RV park is a spacious campground with a well stocked store, coffee house, laundry, showers , the whole 9 yards. The staff is so friendly and the sites are huge and private. Cell and Wi-Fi are excellent. I wish all RV parks were like this. Worth every last penny! If you want to treat yourself, this is you place. Alpine store and rv park down not disappoint!

Today, (Saturday) I booked a three day stay at Alpine, (Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday). I took my coach over to get fuel and discovered a fuel leak that kept me from going and so I called back, one hour after I had booked, and told them I could not make it, and they said they would charge me a $25 fee for cancelling. I wrote a review about my issues with the charge to Good Sam. I just got back home and reviewed my e-mail, and Alpine had dropped the $25 dollar charge. Thank You for the kind jester.

This place is a hidden gem! We stayed for almost 3 months (Mar-Jun). Reasonably priced. Staff is very nice and easy to work with. Good communication when it came to reservations/changes. Sites are clean, partial shade in most sites. Fuel, propane, convenience store on site. Starlink(w/ clear sky) and cell service(Verizon) worked great for remote working for both of us! Despite the occasional nearby train passing by and mild freeway traffic, we weren’t bothered by it at all.
Centrally located! Coeur D’Alene 25 min away, hiking and biking nearby at English Point, Tubs Hill in town. Silver wood Amusement Park is close. Good food within 20 min: Radicci’s, Nadine’s, The Public Porch, Fisherman’s Market. Spokane and Sandpoint 45 min away.

The Alpine Country Store and RV Park is a no frills, basic park with full hook ups in a country setting. The park is clean, roads and sites are easy to negotiate and each pull through space is long leaving plenty of room for parking. Spaces are gravel and fairly level and most spaces have trees for shade but still leaving some filtered light for sunshine. All utilities were convenient and reliable and the wifi connection was surprisingly good. Most “residents” of the park are just that, full time RV living but most are well kept and don’t deter from the RV park feeling. There is adequate space between sites so you don’t feel like you are on top of your neighbor.
The park is located on the north edge of Hayden ID and is a quick 6 miles into the Coeur d’Alene and heading north you can be at Farragut State Park in 15 minutes. Silverwood Theme park is just 10 minutes north for those who want some entertainment while in the area.
Be aware that a few years ago US-95, which runs in front of the store, was converted to a four lane, divided highway which eliminated the road into the store/park property. Garmin didn’t recognize that fact and we had to back track to get to the park. You will need to exit, from the south at Exit 439 to North Pope Road. Then head north about ½ mile to the back side entrance to the store.

This is a nice little park. We were in site 7, which was perfectly level. There are grills to use and trees. We had a good view of the north sky if you are a starlink user. The store/office is closed Sunday. This is about 15 min from Silverwood. Great for short stops or longer stays.
