Our family-owned park is newly purchased in 2018, and is prided on providing exceptional service and a memorable experience to our visitors. Since purchasing the park, it has been consistently updated, adding several new amenities, ensuring it is the most comfortable stay possible. Some of the new amenities include, an office building, full-laundry facility, full- bathroom with shower, metal privacy fence, BBQ grill, picnic table, dog run, and many trees and roses were planted to brighten up the park. Each site offers free basic Wi-Fi, water, sewer, and LED lights on the RV pedestal making it easier for utility connections. There are plenty of pull through sites with 40-50 foot shade trees, which is nice for getting out of the New Mexico heat. Hatch is a small, quaint, and relaxing place to pass through any time of year. It is known as the "Chile Capital of the World," for growing both red and green chile. Thousands of people visit from around the country to buy and stock up on their chile for the year. During harvest time, you can smell the chile as it is being roasted, stroll through various chile stands, and see the locals making beautiful ristras. It truly is an experience to be had! This park is centrally located and within walking distance to several unique locally family owned and operated restaurants. The most notable is the famous Sparky’s Burgers and BBQ, but Valley Café Restaurant is a personal favorite! You will also find authentic chile stands, food/fruit stands, as well as, local and imported hand-made Mexican folk art, including pottery and iron figurines. It is a short drive to either, Caballo or Elephant Butte Lake, should you want to spend some time on the water! Or if you want to take the short drive into the “Big City” of Las Cruces, and do some dining and shopping you can do that too! We hope you are able to come and visit our great Village of Hatch, and look forward to your stay at our park. Should you need any assistance please do not hesitate to reach out, as we are happy to help in any way necessary.

Clean well kept place to park the RV that broke up what would have been a 500+ mile day home. Hatch is a fun town, with Sparky's and several chili vendors within walking distance of the park. Other than that, it was just a place to park. The spaces were pull through, but without any dedicated outside space, or even room, between the spaces. Most of the park was apparently occupied by long term contractors, so on a Friday night, it was oddly full of RVs, but empty of people. At $40 it was expensive for what it was.

Low water pressure, only one restroom and shower unisex for whole campground. Only three over air tv stations and campground Wifi and t mobile Wifi not enough bandwidth to stream anything. On positive everything clean and spaces were big enough for our 27 TT. Easy walk to town if anything open. We were here on Easter weekend and basically everything shut down. As I understand Resturants close early basically everyday they are open. Not much to see in town really. A few metal art stores and chilies. We came to get some chilies and all shut down. The one think to maybe see in town is Sparky’s an old time vintage store with vintage stuff and great burgers and shakes.
A lot of load barking dogs and many cars/trucks with extremely load exhausts make it not very relaxing.

Booked through Roverpass which charged a couple $5 platform fee in addition to the $40 per night. I choose not to pay an additional fee to "reserve" the spot I selected when I booked and sure enough my sight was moved to an unshaded site (which Overpass/Hatch still called shaded). Sites 1-4 are not shaded. Sites 5-14 are shaded by large trees.
Campsite has no access control. Anyone can enter. There is no onsite management. We had to call a number and received a fax with key codes to bathroom and no-charge laundry. There are two uni-sex bathroom and showers. There are three washers and dryers (no charge!). There are more than 30 camping sites. Odd mix of numbers.
Fairly level, gravel sites. Our site had full hookup (30 AM) and the sewer connection was located so that our class B van could dump using our 10 ft sewer hose without moving the rig. This is not typical and a plus.
I would recommend this campsite for a short-term stay well away from the Hatch Chile festival if you are planning to use the showers or bathrooms. The lack of onsite management or access control made us uncomfortable being so close to the center of a town.
