I was only here one night, but would liked to have stayed longer if I could. Well laid out and As the previous reviewer said, there are quite a few longer term people here, but they require RV's to be less than 10 years old unless appearance is reviewed and approved in advance by photos by management, so no junky stuff here. Lots of amenities. The resort is on a beautiful lake. Boaters and fishermen will love it. There are four loops and each loop has a dedicated dock with slips for each site, and a fishing pier. There is marina close by owned by the same poeple. I saw a pair of bald eagles and osprey from the shore. Very quiet, and yet close to a Walmart and restaurants.

It’s an awesome park. Lake, pool, playground. My toddler was a happy boy, so I am a happy momma. We originally booked for one and decided to stay as long as we could. Clean, friendly, and charming. 10/10

Stayed at Caney Creek for one night on our way to New Orleans. The campground is full of, what looked like, permanent residents. Having said that, it was pleasantly quiet. Clean and very well maintained. Had a pull thru with full hook-up. Pretty close to level site. Stayed hitched for easy get up and go. The community is very nice, with a pool, beach and docks for each loop. Caney Creek (I'm assuming) is really pretty. Overall, very nice campground. Iyou're looking for space and privacy, you won't find it here. But if that's your style of camping, Caney Creek is a nice place to stay!

Nice concrete pads with full hook ups.
Lot size really varies some are great and oversized. There are also some smaller lots.
The staff was super friendly and so are the other campers. There is a healthy amount of full timers here. There is a brand new section of the park as well.
Draw backs include poor Wifi, poor cellular service especially if you are T-Mobile, poor water pressure, and a little expensive. The water pressure is bad enough that we fill our freshwater tank at night and just the pump during the day. For cell service our motor home is tall enough it can grab a signal but it’s not great and it pretty unreliable.
For what is in the area and what is available it really is a good option. We really have enjoyed the friendliness of the neighbors and staff. Come this summer this will be an ideal place.
