“Amazing American diner-style food in a 1950's setting”
Welcome to Shorty’s Diner. located in Hailey, Idaho, serving outstanding American Diner food with a 50's flair steeped in local history. In 1994, Bmce Willis demolished the Aukema Drug Company building on Main St. and Croy, which housed an old soda fountain. After Willis rebuilt a historically similar building on the site, Shorty’s Diner opened its doors in May 1996. After closing in 1998, Jacob and Jeanne Greenberg decided to reinvigorate the restaurant. Shorty‘s reopened in April 1999. The Greenberg‘s many years of restaurant experience in the Sun Valley area have allowed the restaurant to flourish, and with a staff dedicated to serving up a little of the past, the great atmosphere and food just can’t be beat. So take a stroll down memory lane and come on in!
