It was nice that it was right on the lake but the neighbors were having a domestic and verbally annoying. It super clean but so close and worth visiting

Very far off the beaten track. But we’ll worth the dirt road leading to it! Peaceful lake sites. Clean and set up well, gravel site. Not exactly level but usable. Unmanned payment system at the entrance. No hassles. If your want peace and quiet, this is a good place to find it. We will return when we’re not on a time schedule.

I was told there are no longer electric sites as they have all been taken out. Generators are ok. Lake as of today is closed due to blue-green algae although campground is open.
Rating is only there as I can’t leave it blank. I just wanted to add an update for camping.

We pulled in late at night and it was difficult to get in. There were low hanging dead tree limbs we couldn’t clear in our 36’ 5th wheel and there was no room for backing up. If you’ve got a small rig or pop up it might be ok. It just looked like there was no maintenance here at all. We fortunately got out of there and headed to the state park 10 miles south.
