I didn't stay, but I wanted to note that there are these comfort stations along the beach side of US-90 (see website) with bathrooms, showers, and drink machines. They are wheelchair accessible and open 24 hours. This one had the largest lot that I've seen. This one had a bad review for having "lots of homeless," but I didn't feel unsafe, although I was only there in the daytime. One of the comfort stations farther down had "no overnight parking" signs (although they are open 24 hrs,) but this one did not. Huge lot with plenty of space, multiple trash cans, and beach access. Road noise.
Note: there is also 24-hr parking at Lighthouse Cove 30.391663,-88.962681. I took photos and will ask for this location to be added when I can confirm that overnight RV parking is okay (I only saw cars.)
