TA RV Park

Clean, well maintained. Each time I stayed there was a different person manning the check in. No shade except for long term. Far enough from I-20 to reduce noise. Stayed here 2012, 2015, 2019, both coming and going to the north west. Will stay again if my plans find me here.

We booked here for an overnighter on our way to GA. Easy access off of I-20. The owner led us to our site and made sure we had all we needed. The majority of the sites are concrete, some are grass but that seems to be for more permanent residents. The sites are just long and wide enough for us. There is plenty of tow vehicle parking. Each site has grass and landscaping. There is a free run dog park and plenty of grass for leashed walking. It is Shreveport so there is a railroad at the back end of the park, cant really hear the trains go by. Our ATT cell signal was ok and our TMobile was very slow but we could access internet with it.

Manager Was Very Welcoming And Helpful. Pros- Clean Sites, Friendly Staff, Big Rig Friendly, Easy Interstate Access, Good Price. Cons- A Little Tight Between Sites And Train Runs Right Behind Rv Park. Most campers are permanent but very quiet place.

Seems mostly occupied by longer term guests but sites are not trashy at all. For us, the distance to the sewer connection was rather long. Most seem that way. Very handy to I20 and right close to TA truck center for refueling. Overall was quiet despite the nearness of the railroad and interstate. Our dogs liked it. Good area to walk them and meet other dogs. Would definitely stay again.
