Buckboard Crossing Campground is located in a high desert landscape with sagebrush and a few scattered trees on the shores of Flaming Gorge Reservoir at an elevation of 6,100 feet. Typical weather ranges from warm days to cool nights. Fishing, boating, canoeing, waterskiing, and swimming are popular activities on the lake. There is a marina, gas/propane, convenience store and RV dump are located onsite. Reservations: Some camp sites can be reserved by calling 1-877-444-6777 (International 518-885-3639 or TDD 877-833-6777) or on-line at recreation.gov. Fees $20/night for a single unit and $26/night for a single electric site. Electricity is available at some sites for and an extra $6.00. Sanitation Station to non-campers $5.00 Showers $5.00 Open Season: 5/15 Usage: Light Water: Potable Water Restroom: Flush Toilet Directions: On Highway 530, travel 25 miles south from Green River, Wyoming. Go 2 miles east on Forest Road 009 to campground. Site is adjacent to Buckboard Marina.
