We camped a few miles west of this location, just east of the Wild Horse Canyon hiking area. There are endless dirt roads to choose from that lead to lonely vistas. Choose carefully as the dirt roads off the paved 1016 can rattle your coffee cups. If you're trailering, best to scout on foot or bicycle unless you see others of your ilk. Perfect view, quiet and desolate.

This is a nice BLM campground that will start charging $15/ night in Jan 2023 The new name will be Temple Mountain Townsite Campground. No trees to block Starlink. Road paved until the last 1/8 mile NO CELL Service
