Very nice and quiet camp. Full hook up's at every site and owner is very nice. Pets allowed on leash. Had good cell signal with straight talk. Located just off highway. Restaurants, gas and grocery within a half mile. Owners have been here for 30 years

Nice clean campground. Not too big but nice. Several pull through sites and gravel pads are good. Really can’t say anything negative. I would stay again.

I pulled off into this convenient campground - there was no answers at the phone listed. No one home when I drove in so self registered. No amenities here besides full hookups. Owner didn’t want me to leave the dog-outside on her lead though I was inside with door open! She rarely barks and wasn’t. She also wanted me to put my cat on a leash and walk her. Good luck with that - I told her she was a stray & is used to hanging around outside. I was shredding old paperwork as I cleaned out a storage unit in the east. She came over and moved the bag with clean, shredded paper so it wouldn’t be seen. Not sure by who as you are essentially in her backyard. Meanwhile, she has weeds and old chatkes in her “gardens” and in various places like her porch where
you register there are all kinds of old
chairs, broken shovels, etc. There is road noise from the highway.

We stopped in because it was hot and didn't want to run our generator all night at a HH or rest area. The owner is a very nice lady and the campground is small and clean. The pull thru spots are so long we were able to stay hooked up to the truck. Nothing fancy but we don't need fancy, this is a nice full hookup spot.

Camp till one night 9/19. Great area. Found it on Campendium. Only about 18 spots here. Very small private campground. Owners also maintain the grounds and keep it very clean. No amenities but full hook ups. Only two others here and they are semi permanent residents. Easy to get to and easy to get from. Really nice host. Some noise from the interstate and from a road outside to park, nothing to be bothered by.

Conveniently located near Exit 172 of I-64. Cash only or personal check. I paid cash. The first time I spoke with Clida (?sp?), she said, "Oh, uh, $35. Prices of utilities have been going up." The next time I spoke with Clida, she said, "$30". After I parked, speaking the the Campground Host, Clida was not there, I told her, and the host politely said that I should pay the $35 which I was willing to do. Or $30, if the host had said $30. More emphasis on "cash only". I was told to pick any pull through site. There aren't that many to choose from, and I never looked to see if it had a number. I chose one that put the house between me and the Interstate. Easy in, and easy out. Full hookups. Electric, water, and sewer. No trails, no playground, just a place to park for the night.

This was a one-off experience for me.
First off, the posted rate is $34 for a back-in and $38 for a pull through. I ended up paying $35 since I never saw any owner or employee while I was here and didn't have $34 in exact change. I suppose I could have written a check....
Check in (when no one is around) entails going to the back-door of the house, reading several posted hand-written signs on the back door and window, filling out a form and putting it and your payment in a slot. I had called on a couple occasions prior to arriving to check on availability on a Saturday night and never got an answer nor received a response from a voice message I left about a week prior to my arrival.
The campground is the owners' back yard. Not to fear however, as it is a spacious, clean and meticulously groomed and cared for camp. All sites and the interior road are tightly packed gravel. Certainly easy enough to get around with any sized rig. There are 11 back-in sites which are along the west and north side of the five huge pull-through sites. Certainly no need to unhitch a tug or toad if opting for a pull-through. All sites are level and offer full hook-ups. No amenities here whatsoever - including no bathroom facility.
There was one other rig in the campground when I was here on a Saturday night in early August. Looked to be a long-term rig, but I never saw anyone the one day I was here. There is a bit of road noise from the Interstate and a surprising amount of traffic on a small rural road which runs along the west side of the campground. Good Verizon signal and plenty of food and/or gas options within a mile or two of the campground.
Very close to the Interstate (less than 2 miles), which makes this a good place to spend a night if in the area.

Found this campground on ToGo App. Stopped by for an overnight stay. The water was shut off due to the colder temperatures, but not a problem.
I went to the back door for the office, a gentleman had me fill out a card and charged us $20 for the evening.
Many thanks for a nice evening
