This is not actually a hotel. It's the "Bear Hotel Artworks Museum."
At The Bear Hotel, you will find a number of hand-painted, life-size bears. Each bear has a different outfit or theme. You may also see these bears in downtown Grants Pass during the summer at Bearfest, an outdoor celebration.
Oh the address they give here is wrong too. You can go in to this bank and ask them how to find it---they sponsor the attraction, so they will tell you. We didn't know this and bumbled about until we found it.
If you follow your GPS and these directions you will NEVER find it but when you do, wow, you're in for a fun surprise, especially if you have kids! You need to have advanced reservations to be given a free tour of the place. Super fun and worth your time! Our whole family enjoyed our tour and they gave us a ton of things --free stuffed bear, posters, a pin, bear cookie cutter, etc. Jeremy our tour guide was WONDERFUL! You do NOT want to miss this if you get a chance to go here. My kids are 11 and 13 and they both loved it. Fun for young and old!

We did not go to the hotel. In the summer, the Bears are set up all around downtown in various locations. It was fun to look for them as we explored and drove around. It's similar to the decorated guitars around Nashville, hearts around San Francisco, and the cows that used to be around Chicago.
