Bear Den is a small RV park off hwy 95 in Grandville, Idaho. It is exceptionally clean, notwithstanding many long term residents. They had space available without reservations in the middle of the week in June. The grounds are well landscaped. The receptionist, Cassie, was very friendly. However, the rate you pay may be different than the rate quoted. I asked for a military rate and Cassie was glad to give me one. She quoted me $59.40 for one night stay which I noted to be the same without any discount. However, she gave me an electronic receipt for $61.48, and my credit card reflected a charge of $63.55. So, I'm not exactly sure what the nightly rate is.
The property is right off the Hwy and you will hear trucks using their jake brakes, and after a while, you maybe surprised to learn that you can distinguish the jacked up 4x4 trucks from others, as their meaty oversized tires make a louder roar.

Used for 1 night to get showers and power after boondocking the past 3 days. Park is clean, sites are nice, showers were the cleanest we have seen in a while. Good area for dogs and close to town. The pizza place will deliver.
Take AAA,good Sam cards.

I really like this place. The bathroom/showers are the cleanest I have seen ever. I opted to use their shower over my own in my RV. The kitchen, dayroom, and laundry are very nice too. I had to tell the owner how much I appreciate the effort. Mature trees, green grass, spacious gravel sites and everything is well maintained. The park sits just far enough off the main road that I do not hear any traffic. I really like the town of Grangeville too; Small, quaint, and unhurried. Grocery store is just a mile down the street. I am staying here during covid and it's a nice respite until I get to Glacier.

Very well kept RV park with level gravel sites and full hookups. High water pressure that is great for rinsing out your black water tank. Everything you need inside the clubhouse - oven, stove, refrigerator, coffee pot, seating area, not to mention the cleanest most pristine laundry facility we've ever seen outside our own home. Staff is friendly and hospitable and genuinely decent. Grangeville is a wonderful small town that has everything you need. Will be coming back here as often as possible.

Excellent! Stayed here for a week. They have all the amenities including a main office building with rec room, fireplace, etc. Also, the best bathrooms we’ve ever had in a campground, separate rooms, 2 with sink & 2 with sink, shower, bench & bathmats with 5 more separate shower/toilet rooms almost completed.

Accommodated our 37' Super C & Tow car easily in one of their pull through sites. While there was ample length; sites aren't super wide so you get to know your neighbor while hooking up your utilities. Sites were clean and large enough for full extension of pop outs on both sides. Roads were gravel and well maintained.
Staff was friendly and accommodated a later (1 pm) checkout so we could take a drive down to the Nez Perce Visitor's Center before heading out the next morning.
We would definitely stay again.

We spent one night on our way to Montana. The site was level, so we didn't have to disconnect. The water and electricity were convenient, but we didn't connect to sewer. We used the wifi briefly, and it was ok for checking email. The park was a short way out of town, so it was quiet at night. The place was not quite full on a Friday night in August. We'd booked ahead, and our site was texted to us, so it was a smooth process after a long drive.

We were having a bit of mechanical trouble, and limped into the park. I had found them here in Campendium. They had a spot for us, and we were able to move along the next day. A perfect spot! The park itself has mostly pull through sites, and easily accommodated our 40’ plus toad. The sites were roomy, along with being green with trees and grass. The staff was super friendly! The grounds and buildings were well kept. A definite win!
